This short guide will show you how to get most out of your Survey Club membership - We will guide you through the whole process and show you how to get the ball rolling and the surveys coming in regularly.
GET A DEDICATED EMAIL ADDRESS
The first thing you need to do is get a dedicated email address for your survey work.
You will be signing up with multiple companies and will be receiving many notifications of new surveys, it will be much better to monitor all of these in one account so as to not get them mixed up with your other mail.
We recommend that you open a gmail account by going to google.com and clicking on gmail in the small menu at the top of the screen. Gmail is easy to use and is well suited to the job of handling the mail for the surveys.
Many of the survey companies have introductory offers and free gifts etc. Words such as 'free' and 'offer' and '$' are often used in the emails they send and as such many of the emails will not get through and will be blocked as spam.
If you have a gmail address which you are using solely for your survey work then you can take a look at all emails marked as spam in an instant and you will not have to sort through them because you will know that most of them will be legitimate survey offers.
SIGN UP FOR THE SURVEY PANELS
Once you have your gmail account open (it should take less than 5 minutes) you can start to sign up for the survey panels. If you are not there already then get on over to our members area at http://bestpaidsurveyguide.com/members.html
The first section on the left hand side of the page is where you will find the latest survey panels looking for participants. Click on the first one from the list and you will be taken to that company's sign up page. The company will need to know as much about you as possible in order to target you for specific surveys. In some cases you will be asked to complete what is known as a pre selection survey. You will not be paid for this but it is essential that you complete the task... it should only take a few minutes and will help the company in deciding which of their surveys you will be eligible for. With most of the companies this information will be used as your 'profile' which can be modified at any time. (more on that later).
COMPLETING THE SURVEYS
Once you have completed your initial survey or profile you should start receiving notifications of surveys for cash with that company. You will most likely receive 3 or 4 in the first month. It is very important that you complete these surveys in order to maintain a good relationship and begin to receive surveys more frequently.
On several occasion in the first few weeks of working with a company you might receive a few filtering surveys. These are designed to further qualify you for receiving future surveys. These don't pay you but will qualify you to receive more surveys in the long run.
The main point to remember is that in order to receive more surveys you need to complete every survey that you are offered, including those that don't pay (the qualifying surveys) and those that pay little or simply pay with vouchers or sweepstakes.
It is also worth while updating your profile at least once every 4 to 6 weeks. This seems to keep you in an active status with the survey panel and will ensure that you receive a constant flow of survey offers.
NON QUALIFYING SURVEYS
On occasions you will receive notification of a survey and upon starting the survey you will be informed that you are not qualified to complete this and the survey will end. You will not be paid if you don't qualify. This occurs often for example, you could be asked "when was the last time you ate a hamburger?"... you might answer '4 weeks ago' and then you will be told you do not qualify for this particular survey. The reason for this will be that the survey company will probably be looking for something like 'males between the ages of 30 and 40 who eat hamburgers at least once a week'.
To receive a survey and then be told that you do not qualify and that you will not get paid for it can be a little frustrating but at least you wont have spent a lot of time on completing the survey.
BE TRUTHFUL
You should always be truthful and consistent in your answers when filling out surveys. Your answers get recorded and sometimes they will get cross referenced. If you are found to be giving false or inconsistent answers then you will become blacklisted and will not be sent any more surveys by that particular group of companies.
GIVE US YOUR RATING
Once you have completed the registration process for a survey panel and have started receiving surveys then please take the time to return to our members page and give that survey panel your rating. Ratings of 3 or over if you have had success and are receiving surveys and ratings of 1 and 2 if you have not yet received any surveys.
REPEAT THE PROCESS MULTIPLE TIMES
Once you have signed up with one of the panels and completed your profile and or pre-selection survey then you need to repeat the process many more times. Simply go back to the Survey Club Members Area and select the next survey panel in the list. Signing up with many panels means that you will receive notifications of many surveys each day and you will be able to make a decent wage out of this work.
You should also keep a look out for new companies and new offers. We are constantly receiving information on new survey panels and new free offers available in exchange for completing short surveys. We will pass the information on to you and will notify you by email as it becomes available.
